Located on the western slope of Colorado, The Red Barn had the ideal location to grow the very best fresh fruits and vegetables. Palisade, Colorado is home to our orchards and gardens, allowing them to soak up all that this land has to offer.
Palisade is known for growing magnificent Peaches dating all the way back to the late 1800s. Because of our desert-like climate surrounded by beautiful mountain views, the hot days and cool nights produce some of the best peaches in the world. Volcanic-based soils add the essential minerals to produce various types of produce, including grapes for the valley’s wineries. The famous Grand Mesa, located at the eastern foot of the valley, provides fresh mountain water right to the roots of our trees through the Colorado River, adding to the crisp juicy flavor while contributing to the essential vitamin content.
With views of the Colorado River, Colorado National Monument, Mt. Garfield, and Grand Mesa, this small town atmosphere brings to life the natural beauty around us and enhances the quality of life by producing the very best produce this valley has to offer.
